A Family Legacy: The Grundy Family

Jim Grundy, president of Grundy Worldwide, and his son, Sam, display a trophy from the St. Michael's Concours, held in September 2007. Grundy and his family displayed an award-winning 1915 Mercer Raceabout at the event.
Grundy has a spectacular collection of specialty vehicles that he enjoys driving in tours and showing in concours events across the country with his family. And, one might say that the passion for collector vehicles runs through the Grundy family's blood. (It only seems fit to see Grundy and one of his sons proudly showing off a win!)
In 1906, Jim Grundy's great grandfather, Colonel Sam Baily, purchased Pullman Carriage/Motor Company. And, the Colonel's son, also named Sam, was the first to ever restore a collector car (a 1909 Pierce Arrow that Jim Grundy now owns). In 1947, Jim's father, James A. Grundy, Sr., began insuring such collector vehicles, and the legacy continues, today.
