In recognition of the fact that policyholders along the hurricane-ravaged Gulf Coast are facing many challenges, Grundy Worldwide is now issuing a temporary, voluntary postponement on policy cancellations and nonrenewals for insured in areas of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama that were most severely affected by Hurricane Katrina. At the present time, the postponement is scheduled to end on November 1st 2005.

We will be mailing all policies and renewals to the addresses on file; however we fear that many of you will not receive them due to suspension in postal service in many hard hit areas of the Gulf Coast. As a company in this great nation, our hearts go out to the families and communities whose lives have been shattered by Hurricane Katrina. We cannot imagine the suffering and grief left in Katrina's wake, but will keep the courageous victims and gracious volunteers in our hearts and thoughts as the healing and the rebuilding begins.
